TWO women were given suspended prison sentences after admitting stealing from shops.
Sarah Jones, 38, of Eglwyswrw, admitted three charges of theft from a shop at Llanelli Magistrates Court on May 4.
She stole £94.40 worth of alcohol and other items from Marks & Spencer in Carmarthen on April 12.
She also stole £48.32 worth of the same items from Aldi in Carmarthen on the same date and £13.96 worth of dog food and toys from Home Bargains in Carmarthen on the same date.
She was jailed for 16 weeks, suspended for 18 months due to the offences being planned, the level of offending and her previous convictions.
She also had to carry out 80 hours unpaid work, take part in rehabilitation activities and pay £85 costs.
Nicola Peeling, 37, of Red Cow Annexe, B4521, Newcastle Emlyn to Adpar, admitted two charges of theft from a shop at Llanelli Magistrates Court on May 4.
She admitted stealing £107.86 worth of make up and beauty items from TK Maxx in Carmarthen and alcohol and other items of an unknown value from Home Bargains in Carmarthen.
Both offences were committed on April 12.
She was jailed for 16 weeks, suspended for 18 months due to the offences being planned, the level of offending and her previous convictions.
She also has to carry out an alcohol treatment programme, rehabilitation activity requirements and 80 hours unpaid work. She was ordered to pay £154 surcharge.
