TWO Ceredigion men were recently in court for drink and drug driving.
Ethan Cartwright, 20, of Penrhiwllan, Llandysul, admitted drink driving at Llanelli Magistrates Court on March 16.
He was caught on February 26 driving a Vauxhall Astra on Coracle Way, Carmarthen when he was over the drink-drive limit. His breath alcohol level was 87 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
He was banned from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay £323 fine, £129 surcharge and £85 costs.
Kieran Owen, 20, of Llanrhystud, admitted drug driving at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on March 15.
He was caught on December 22 driving a Ford Fiesta on the A487 Llanarth when over the drug drive limit. He had 2.3 microgrammes of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood.
He was banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay £200 fine, £80 surcharge and £85 costs.
