A RISING singer-songwriter from Cardigan now has a regular Wednesday night slot on Cardigan Internet Radio.
Rosalind Haf Powell – who started learning piano at the age of six – has performed at St Mary’s Church, The Guildhall and The Cellar Bar, having studied music at Downing College, Cambridge University.
Having written approximately 300 songs, Rosalind is now performing new ones and recommends Cardigan Internet Radio to anyone who wants to run their own show.
“The atmosphere is really warm and friendly and I feel supported and encouraged to share my compositions,” she said.
Rosalind, who has made two albums - 'Circumference' and 'Sound Eagle' - sings in three local choirs, Bro Nest Ladies Choir, Cantorium Aberteifi and Cor Teifi, has a website (www.rospowell.co.uk) and plays organ and piano at Llechryd and Llangoedmor churches.
Her composition 'Water Flows' was inspired by the River Teifi.
Rosalind’s weekly show is broadcast on Cardigan Internet Radio on Wednesdays at 7pm.
