A BLAENPORTH man will be sentenced by Swansea Crown Court this week for a number of driving offences.

Brandon Parker, 25, of Lon yr Ysgol, admitted 12 of the 14 charges he was faced with at Aberystwyth Justice Centre on September 29.

The charges related to the dates – August 22, September 22 and September 27.

The charges for August 22 were a count of driving a motor vehicle without insurance after being caught driving a Ford Fiesta at Heol y Felin Penparc.

He was charged with aggravated vehicle taking and damage to the vehicle after taking the Ford Fiesta at Heol y Felin Penparc and there was damage to the sum of no more than £5,000 done to the vehicle.

He also received a charge of taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent.

He was also charged with a count of driving without due care and attention and a count of using a motor vehicle likely to cause danger of injury as the Ford Fiesta was missing its front nearside wheel.

There was a charge of driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and a charge of failing to stop after an accident at Heol y Felin Penparc.

He also had a charge of failing to stop when required by a police officer for September 22 after not stopping the Nissan Micra on Rhyd Rosser in Aberystwyth.

The charges for September 27 were a count of driving without insurance after being caught driving a Nissan Micra at Llangwyrfron, Aberystwyth.

He also faced a charge of dangerous driving for an incident on September 27 when he was seen driving the Nissan Micra dangerously at Llangwyrfron.

He faced a charge of failing to stop after a road accident at Rhyd Rosser and a charge of failing to stop when required by police at Llangwyrfron.

A second charge of failing to stop after a road accident charge was also issued for the date, this time after a collision at Llangwyrfron.

He also faced a final charge of driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

Parker admitted all charges aside from driving a motor vehicle dangerously and aggravated vehicle taking and vehicle damage.

He is due to be sentenced at Swansea Crown Court on October 13.
