CEREDIGION residents are being warned not to lose their voice on decisions that affect them by making sure their electoral registration details are up to date.
The annual canvass ensures that Ceredigion can keep the electoral register up to date, identifying any residents who are not registered to vote so that they can be encouraged to do so.
Anyone aged 16 or over can vote in Welsh local government and Senedd elections, regardless of where they were born.
Residents need to look out for a letter from Ceredigion’s Electoral Services so the right details on the electoral register for every address in Ceredigion can be ensured.
If you’re not currently registered, your name will not appear on the letter sent to your address.
Registration can be made online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote or by email electoralservices@ceredigion.gov.uk or 01545 572032.
