A LOCAL young artist is hosting a photographic exhibition at a Cardigan gallery.
Alaw Haf James, from Ceredigion, is displaying his Porthmon exhibition at Oriel Mwldan in Cardigan from August 12 to 25.
Alaw Haf James - who recently graduated from Carmarthen School of Art with first class honours - said: "Living on a farm all my life, I've grown up amongst nature, livestock and the buzz of machinery. Being able to photograph the land and share the little moments I get to see every day is something I love doing.

"I'm a farmer, photographer and artist from Ceredigion in Southwest Wales and my background in agriculture has always had a big influence on me, which can be seen throughout a lot of my work."
The exhibition is a series of black and white photographs, drawings and documents that look back at the history of the drovers of Wales and the evolution of their profession into what it is today.
This exhibition is part of a series of pop-up exhibitions at Oriel Mwldan.
