Multiple emergency service bodies were involved in a search operation which took place in New Quay Bay overnight last night (Sunday, August 7 to Monday, August 8).
Dyfed-Powys Police, HM Coastguard and RNLI were involved in the search for a man “who had run off following a domestic incident.”
The inshore lifeboat at New Quay Lifeboat Station was sent out shortly before midnight, before being stood down approximately an hour and a half later.
The emergency service bodies were all stood down after no finding was made.
Police officers have confirmed that enquiries are continuing to confirm the man’s whereabouts, with thoughts that he may have left the Dyfed-Powys region.
