The latest statistics available have shown that more than 70 crimes have been reported in Cardigan across one month.
According to the latest information from police.uk, 71 crimes were reported in Cardigan in the space of one month.
This is however, a decline on the previous month, which saw 81 crimes reported in the town.
Over the latest month, the most common type of crime is violence and sexual offences, with 31 of those crimes reported.
Adding to this, there were 12 public order offences, seven anti-social behaviour offences and seven thefts reported.

Six criminal damage and arson offences, four drug offences, one shoplifting, one burglary and one possession of weapons were also reported.
Throughout the town, the Teifi region has again produced the most amount of crimes reported, with 32 (45 per cent).
Across the last four months, a total of 162 crimes have been reported from the Teifi area of Cardigan.
