A LLANDYSUL motorist has paid a high price for breaking a 30 mph speed limit at Gorslas.
Emma Kathryn Lewis, aged 46, of Clettwr Terrace, Pontsian, was said to have been clocked driving a Mini Cooper at 37 mph in a 30 mph speed zone on the A476 on July 29 when her case came before Carmarthenshire magistrates.
The defendant was fined £220, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 along with £90 costs and had her driving record endorsed with three penalty points after the case was proved under the single justice procedure.
