OFFICERS from Dyfed-Powys Police using sniffer dog Billy are said to have staged a successful drugs raid in Aberporth in which a quantity of herbal cannabis was seized on Wednesday.
Cardigan Police tweeted that a drugs warrant had been executed in the village and that the operation had been overseen by Assistant Chief Constable Emma Ackland as part of Neighbourhood Policing Week.
“As part of the Neighbourhood Policing week of action and following community concerns a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act was executed at a property in Aberporth on the morning of Wednesday, January 19," said a spokesperson.
"A quantity of herbal cannabis was found at the property. The occupant of the property will be interviewed in due course.
“Please continue to help us to tackle drug use and dealing within our communities."
