ALL Soroptimist International groups were asked to plant trees in celebration of their 100th anniversary.
Cardigan and District planted 10 indigenous trees after local builders T I Davies arranged for gardeners to plant, feed and stake them in and around Maesydderwen.
Jan Walker, manager of Cardigan Health Centre, gave them permission to plant a flowering crab apple tree there, with a small plaque while Owen Thomas pin-pointed spot near a wooden bench with views over the valley.
Mair Morris and Cherry Hammett were there representing Cardigan Soroptimists.
The group meet once a month - for further information email saramairmorris@outlook.com
