NEWCASTLE Emlyn’s Attic Theatre is poised to return with its first production in almost two years.
The company is delighted to announce that its doors are about to be thrown open.
Described as ‘an energetic comedy with music, a jot of jeopardy and a pinch of panto’, RATS! has been written especially for the amateur dramatics company.
A message on its website said there was ‘a huge desire to get back to live performance’.
Writer Melanie Davies said: “We are so lucky to have such supportive audiences for Attic Theatre’s work.
“After such a long time and all the difficulties of Covid, I wanted to write something for them, that would send everyone home laughing, with a belly-full of great live theatre.”
Tickets and information on Covid requirements may be found at attictheatre.wales or at Attic Theatre Newcastle Emlyn on Facebook.
Performances will be staged on December 8, 9, 10 and 11 and with a matinee on December 11.
