The Cellar Bards 'Comeback Special' open mic spoken word event, which was scheduled to take place in Cardigan this Friday (November 12) has been cancelled.
An open mic special featuring performances from a range of talented local writers of poetry, short fiction and novels was due to be held in the Castle Café Cellar Bar.
Cellar Bards organiser Jackie Biggs, said that staff at The Castle Cafe and Cellar Bar in Cardigan are isolating until next Monday, and the venue will remain closed all weekend.
"Venue host Steve Greenhalgh and his staff are all well, it's a contact-trace matter, and there are simply not enough staff not isolating to run the place," she added.
The 'Cellar Bards Comeback' is rescheduled for Friday, December 10, 7.30pm for 8pm.
Ms Biggs added: “It is always a pleasure to listen to the work of our talented local writers on the open mic.
“They never fail to bring a range of surprising work on a variety of topics ranging from politics to nature and environment to some very personal life events, much of it delivered with great humour."
