THE Cellar Bards are back in Cardigan – to hold their first spoken word event since February 2020!
An open mic special featuring performances from a range of talented local writers of poetry, short fiction and novels will be held in the Castle Café Cellar Bar, on Friday, November 12.
Doors and the bar open at 7.30pm, the event starts at 8pm. Entry is £3 on the door.
Cellar Bards organiser Jackie Biggs, said: “It is always a pleasure to listen to the work of our talented local writers on the open mic.
“They never fail to bring a range of surprising work on a variety of topics ranging from politics to nature and environment to some very personal life events, much of it delivered with great humour."
Co-organiser Dave Urwin added: “Everyone is made welcome on our open mic nights and as always we provide the opportunity for writers of all ages and styles to come and read or perform their work in a friendly and relaxed environment.
“There is always room for a song or two as well.”
