IN A nod to the COP26 meetings in Glasgow, Rhosygilwen has put together a special event to mark the Road to Zero Carbon on Saturday, November 6, at 7.30 pm.
Audiences will be treated to the stories of Daniel Morden who will headline the evening on the theme of Loving the Earth.
Daniel is one of the leading storytellers in the UK and has previously been part of Devil’s Violin.
The evening will also feature poems specially composed on the theme by poets Mel Perry, Ron Geaves, Kathy Miles, Jane Campbell and Jackie Biggs.
Singer-songwriters Glen Peters and Paul Hayes and musician Alan Hoy will also perform pieces written for the evening while Brenda Squires will lead a meditation on Loving the Earth.
“My meditation will focus on creating a new energy of hope for change amongst us all,” she said.
The event will be held in Neuaddydderwen, Rhosygilwen, and tickets (£5) can be booked on Rhosygilwen.co.uk
