TWO London men who broke coronavirus travel restriction rules to go camping at Mwnt during the first Covid-19 lockdown earlier this year must each pay more than £800 in fines and costs.
Mohammed Amer Alnahidi, aged 24, and Abdullah Bilal Noori, aged 26, both of Park Street, London, Greater London, found the case against them proved in their absence at a hearing at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court yesterday (October 21).
The court heard the pair travelled to Mwnt beach near Cardigan on April 16 without reasonable excuse during the emergency period to go camping.
Magistrates fined each man £660, along with £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge.
