LOCAL MP Mark Williams visited Celtic Country Wines near Newcastle Emlyn recently to hear more about the business first hand.
The winery has become a firm part of Ceredigion’s thriving local food and drink sector.
Mr Williams said: "It was great to visit the winery and see how this fantastic local business has grown, and looks set to grow further. It was interesting to hear about the tax obligations on wineries and how this is affecting small scale wine producers. I discussed with the owner the need for regulations to be lightened, to help growing businesses at a time when the economy is fragile."
