EXPERTS from Beacon Stoves, Coppicewood College and Llais y Goedwig have joined forces to create a free, unique day of demonstrations and discussions focusing on sustainable woodland management for wood fuel and other products, on Sat 19th Oct at Beacon Stoves in Newcastle Emlyn.
Open to all, the event will cover various key topics, from returning neglected woodlands back into production and creating high quality wood fuel, to heating with wood fuel and closing the carbon cycle. Sessions in the woodland, wood yard, and around the fire will include tool and technique demonstrations led by traditional woodland management and wood fuel experts.
Running from 10.30am to 4pm, attendees are welcome to attend the full day, or just the morning or afternoon session as they wish. Hot drinks, lunch, and a post event woodland walk or pub drinks and wood fired pizza dinner option are available.
This event is one of a series of local networking events this year supported by Llais y Goedwig, the community woodland network for Wales.
