A SEAT in memory of a popular and hardworking community councillor in Aberporth was unveiled at the weekend.
Cllr Denfa Rees was a stalwart member of Aberporth Community Council and the local village hall committee for many years. A builder by trade, he carried out many odd jobs for the community around the village.
To mark their appreciation, members of both committees clubbed together to install a seat overlooking the beach near his home in Penrodyn, Aberporth.
The unveiling was carried out by Denfa's widow Ann and watched by local residents.
