TAI Ceredigion’s annual Tenant Conference at the National Library of Wales, October 9, will welcome MP Mark Williams as guest speaker.

Mr Williams will address the Welfare Reform and in particular the ‘bedroom tax’ and its effect on rural areas.

The conference “More than just a landlord”, organised by Tai Ceredigion tenants from the Tenant Monitoring Group, will be an opportunity for tenants to question and listen to their landlord’s future plans for improving homes, building new homes, and tackling poverty with a wide range of initiatives.

Jim Scanlan, Tai Ceredigion Monitoring Group chairman said: "We hope that fellow tenants will find this year’s conference helpful as we will be looking at not only the effects of the Welfare Reform but West Wales Credit Union will join us to see how they can help and also we will find out more about The Care Society in our community and of course what Tai Ceredigion is doing for us the tenants.

“We will have the latest STAR Tenant survey results from the Chief Executive and an update from the Director of Property Services. We welcome all tenants to attend the conference.”

Tenants wanting to attend can contact Tai Ceredigion’s Customer Services on 0345 606 7654.
