A LOCAL woman is to have her day in court accused of biting a car and assaulting two police officers.
Dark-haired 25-year-old Rhian Elizabeth Jeremiah, Golwg Y Castell, Cardigan, who was represented by Alison Mathias, appeared at Ceredigion Magistrates Court charged with causing criminal damage to a Fiat 500 by biting the vehicle.
During the incident in Pier Street Aberystwyth on the evening of Saturday, July 13 she was also arrested for assaulting policewoman Ceri Davies and PC Gareth Roberts in the execution of their duty.
The defendant, who admitted the assault offences, pleaded not guilty to the criminal damage charge.
The car matter was adjourned for trial after which she will be sentenced on the assault charges. Unconditional bail was extended.
