AN AWARD winning local artist is exhibiting her work at the Senedd.
Mid and West Wales AM Rebecca Evans, has welcomed award winning West Wales artist to the National Assembly for Wales where her work will be on display for the week.
Eloise Govier, a contemporary expressionist oil painter from Cenarth, is displaying her exhibition ‘FFLWORO: CYMRU / FLUORO: WALES ’ - a snapshot of her visualisation of Wales. The exhibition, which will be on display in the Senedd for a week, was officially opened by Rebecca Evans AM last week at a small reception in the Senedd.
Mrs Evans said: “Eloise is a very talented artist who has exhibited her work nationally and internationally, picking up acclaim from many quarters. Her works, inspired by the beauty of west Wales, offer the World an enticing insight into what our corner of the world has in store.”
Eloise said: "It is an honour to be exhibiting my work right at the heart of Welsh government. Bringing art to the Senedd reminds everyone that culture and creativity are integral to a healthy and happy community, and it’s great that politicians such as Rebecca Evans and the Welsh government itself support both the arts and the artists in this way."
