CALLS have been made for trees obscuring views of the sea in Aberporth to be lopped.
Community council chairman Cllr Anne McCreary told this week's council meeting that she had received complaints that the trees above Dyffryn beach were too tall.
The trees are on land belonging to the village hall committee.
Hall chairman Cllr Dai Ogilvie told the meeting that the hall committee had received letters from two local residents who wanted the trees reduced in size.
"We live in village not a forest," he said.
He added that the issue would be discussed at the next meeting of the hall committee.
