NEW Quay RNLI assisted a pregnant woman and her companion, after they were cut off by the tide at Penbryn beach on Sunday evening.
The pair were left in the care of paramedics.
Before returning to the station, the inshore lifeboat was called to assist a six metre rib back to New Quay harbour after it suffered engine failure.
