WITH two of S4C’s highest profile productions coming from Ceredigion this autumn, there’ll be an opportunity for the public to voice their opinion on the channel’s work during an event in the area.
An S4C viewers’ evening will take place on Tuesday evening, September 17 at 7:00pm in Theatre Felinfach near Ystrad Aeron.
Viewers will be given the opportunity to give their feedback on S4C programmes and services as well as share their thoughts on what they would like to see on the channel in the future.
There will be the chance to meet S4C’s Chief executive, Ian Jones, and the Chairman of the S4C Authority, Huw Jones. Also at the event will be the Channel’s Director of Content, Dafydd Rhys, Factual Commissioner, Llion Iwan, and Drama Commissioner, Gwawr Lloyd.
This week, S4C’s living history series, Y Plas which is being filmed at the Llanerchaeron estate, started on the channel, and next month S4C’s big drama series, Y Gwyll/Hinterland which is also located in Ceredigion will begin. This broadcast will be the first opportunity in any country to see this production which has already brought the area to international prominence.
Light refreshments will be available on the night, a loop system and translation equipment will also be provided.
