A CARDIGAN man has denied five charges of making dishonest statements to obtain thousands of pounds in benefits he was not entitled to.
Harry Hall, aged 24, of 47 Felin Ban Estate, entered not guilty pleas to all allegations when he appeared before Aberystwyth magistrates on Wednesday.
He is charged making false statements to the Department for Work and Pensions, by failing to declare shares and investments.
It is claimed he obtained housing and council tax benefits and job seekers allowance which he was not entitled to, amounting to £7,460, between April 2009 and June 2011.
A trial date was set for November 7.
