Macmillan Cancer Support’s free course in Cardigan to help people to manage the psychological impact of a cancer diagnosis has been rescheduled.

The programme has been postponed from its original start date of 3 September.

It has been rearranged to run at Small World Theatre on Bath House Road on Tuesdays for six weeks starting on 12 November.

Called Helping to Overcome Problems Effectively (HOPE), Macmillan’s new self-management course will run from 10.30am to 1pm.

Macmillan is offering HOPE to anyone living with a cancer diagnosis and this year is the first time the charity has run the programme in Wales.

Topics the course focuses on include managing stress, fatigue and body image and living positively with the fear of recurrence.

To register for the course, or for more information, please contact Genette Webster on 01656 867966 or email gwebster@macmillan.org.uk.
