A woman is to stand trial accused of attempted murder in Newcastle Emlyn.
Patricia Margaret Trice, aged 29, entered a plea of not guilty before Judge Keith Thomas at Swansea crown court.
Trice, who is being held at Eastwood Park women’s jail near Bristol, is accused of attempting to murder Joyce Elizabeth Gooding on May 16.
She also denied a lesser, alternative charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Trice, whose address on court papers was 13 Mill Way, Axminster, will face a four day trial listed to begin on November 11.
She was further remanded in custody until then.
