A SUCCESSFUL open day was held at Cardigan Lifeboat Station last Sunday.
In spite of a very brisk Northerly wind, the day was clear and beautifully sunny.
Many visitors to Poppit Beach called by to visit the Lifeboat Station and adjoining Lifeboat Shop.
More than 500 people visited the shop and Lifeboat Station during the day.
The crews were on hand to explain the workings of the station and many children were allowed to go aboard the Atlantic 75, the D Class lifeboats and Articulated Tractor.
