I was saddened to read of the passing of Roger. For a few years he and his family lived in the house in Pontgarreg that my great-grandfather built. I fondly recall their kindness to my late aunts Ismay, Elma, and Pearl - and the sounds and smells of Curlew Weavers.

With deepest condolences - David Hawker

I am so sorry to hear of the sudden death of Roger. I was contacting him in regards of more weaving that I wanted done by him and I cannot imagine how you, his family, must be feeling.
Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.
Sincerely

Marian Ash
