Davies David Roy O.B.E. Died 22nd March 2018 at home in Norwich, aged 85 years. Husband of Frances Davies. Professor Emeritus at University of East Anglia and formerly John Innes Institute, Norwich and the Welsh Plant Breeding Institute, Aberystwyth. Son of the late Enid Davies, Aberporth and father to Mark, Siân, Anna and Andrew and grandfather of eleven. Funeral service at St Andrew's Church, Eaton, Norwich on Thursday 19th April at 1 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers to two schools where Roy was a governor Thorpe St Andrew's School and Norwich School.
