FARGO Stage Company opens its first major tour of Wales with Dandelion, by Patrick Jones which will be at Theatr Mwldan on October 2,at 7.30pm.

The show follows Artistic Director, Michael Kelligan’s ten year, much acclaimed On The Edge project - performances of new and established Welsh and Wales based writers at The Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff. The company is delighted to be opening its first major tour of Wales with Dandelion by Patrick Jones.

Much of the work of the Blackwood based poet, playwright and lyric writer has been strong and challenging. In this new play he is in a much more gentle mood. The play is a sensitive tribute to the human spirit. This beautifully written story revolves around the lives of four people; three women and one man living in a hospice. Not much of a place for laughter you might think, but the irascible and determined way Ernest continually strives for his rights and fights against authority brings us many hilarious moments, in contrast to the gentle beauty that permeates much of the action.

Tickets to see Dandelion are £12 (£10 concessions, £3 Mates Rates scheme (11-18yr olds), available from Mwldan’s Box Office on 01239 621200, online at www.mwldan.co.uk, or via smart phones by visiting mwldan.ticketsolve.com/mobile.
