WHAT do Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and Anne Frank’s Diary have in common?
They are just some of the popular books that have been banned at some time or other in various countries across the world.
Now to celebrate ‘Banned Books Week’ (September 22 to 28) Pembrokeshire libraries are joining libraries across Wales to give people the chance to win a selection of banned titles.
All readers have to do is provide a short review of a ‘banned’ book that they have read.
The on-line competition is open to library members over the age of 16 who live, work or study in Wales. It runs until September 27.
