The Cardigan Castle Archive Group and Sewing Group will be meeting again from Saturday 14th September, following the August break.

Are you looking for a new hobby this autumn? Come along to one of the Castle groups – they’re fun, you can learn new skills or use existing ones, meet new friends and it’s free!

Join the archive group to help with research, sorting and cleaning items from Castle Green House, and help to bring together exhibitions which will be shown at the Castle when it opens in 2014.

The sewing group is making decorations and toys ready for the Christmas Fair and those with more confidence are preparing costumes which will be used in Castle parades and Medieval Days. It’s a relaxed and friendly atmosphere – so why not pop in to see for yourself.

These are both great opportunities to contribute to the Castle’s exhibitions and open days – which will draw in thousands of tourists from 2014. If you’d like to be involved with these groups or in other ways – contact Gwenllian on gwenllian.evans@cardigancastle.com / 01239 615131.

Both groups will be held at the Castle office this Saturday – the archive group at 10am, the sewing group at 1.30pm and all are welcome.
