THIS year Cardigan Theatre has decided to do something a bit different, and presents an adult panto, Beauty and her Beastie, rated 18.
The action takes place on the Isle of End in Scotland where Wee Willie is concerned that his beautiful 'dotter' Belle appears to have no interest in the men of the village.
She yearns for adventure and to escape the confines of her sleepy village and the advances of an unwanted beau.
She runs off into the deep, dark sinister forest, where she finds a mysterious but strangely welcoming castle. The enchanted characters within hold a secret which will transform Belle's life forever...well, her sex life anyway!
What secrets does the castle hold? Who, or what, lives in the Master's Tower and what does he, or it, do in there all day?
Will Belle ever be rescued or more to the point does she want to be? All these questions will be answered in the Beauty and Her Beastie.
The saucy production will be performed at Theatre Mwldan, on September 6 and 7, 7.30pm, directed by George Herbert, tickets cost £10.
