A house has been completely destroyed after a fire in the early hours of the morning.
Fire crews received a call at 4.55am on Monday, September 7 for a house fire in Bryngwyn, Newcastle Emlyn.
Crews from Newcastle Emlyn, Cardigan and Llandysul responded to the call.
The house has been completed destroyed by the fire and has left a man in his 60's in hospital.
The man was taken to Morriston Hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening. No one else was injured.
The house has been cordoned off as it is still smouldering and the road closed to ensure safety of people in the area and to conduct investigations at the scene. It will remain closed until further notice.
